Writing Your Way Home: Journaling Together

Online Journaling Group

This course is an online opportunity to use journaling as  pathway to deepen your understanding of where you are on your life’s journey. The eight-week course will focus on where you are, where you’ve been, and where you hope to be.

From October 1 to Nov 18, every other week will be a week of journal practice from the exercises in a chapter in Journaling as a Spiritual Practice: Encountering God Through Attentive Writing by Helen Cepero. On the alternate weeks, participants will be in a small confidential online group to share from their journal writing or from their experience of journal practice. Each group member will respond to at least one other person. These online contemplative listening groups will provide both accountability for the practice as well as an online community

The instructor will post a one-page reflection for the journaling week and respond to each participant in the groups during the online week. Each participant must agree to shared listening and responding guidelines before beginning the course.
