Candace is nationally known and a sought out speaker at conferences around the country. In 2013, The Advocate named her one of the “10 Pro-LGBT Religious Women You Should Know.” Additionally, she been given a book deal by Eerdmans Publishing Co. and is in the process of writing a book about what churches mean when they say, “All are Welcome.” Through her work she has created a healing presence for those who have found themselves ostracized by the church.
