My name is Karen Robinson and I am a woman of faith who feels called to help other women of faith to live in freedom and purpose. In 2016, I graduated from North Park Seminary where I earned a graduate certificate in spiritual direction. As a student at North Park, one of my instructors said, “Everyone needs a good listening to” and that statement struck a chord with me. I have been trained to help women to listen to the voice of God in their lives and my primary focus is to help you be who you are called to be in your work, in your relationships with others and in your sexuality.

The Trap of Premature Forgiveness

Most definitions of forgiveness tend to obligate victims to do a lot of work without a call to those who harm others to do anything at all. This workshop is a challenging look at forgiveness that calls us to look at the role of the transgressed and the role of the transgressor. We will unpack a “new” definition of forgiveness that involves the role of those who have been harmed and the 4 requirements of those of us who have harmed others.
