Continuing Education for Spiritual Directors: SPIRITUAL DIRECTION with the LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY

Matt Nightingale is a gay spiritual director who works almost exclusively with LGBTQ+ people. In this session, he’ll be sharing some of the challenges and rewards of working with this unique population. How can we best understand queer people? How can we be sensitive to their needs and challenges? How can we be aware of our own limitations and biases? How can we partner with the Spirit to create safe spaces for spiritual growth and exploration?
